Inspiring you to explore mindfully and sustainably.
WE’RE IN CONSTANT PURSUIT OF
Bringing People Together
Life is about what we all have in common: being human.
Meaningful Moments
We believe in showing up authentically. We’re not just doing it for the ‘gram.
Breaking Down Preconceptions
Living openly is the best way to experience different places, countries, food, cultures, and people.
Adventure is out there. Let’s find it.
WHO WE ARE
Oui Are Travellers started as a way to stay in touch with our family and loved ones, and has grown into a space where we feel like we can bring people right along with us throughout our travels. We kind of think about it as “National Geographic” meets “People of New York”, where we showcase the vast beauty in both the landscapes and the people that we come across.
We hope that by sharing these stories, photographs, videos and new perspectives, that we can perhaps challenge preconceived narratives that people might have about certain places and cultures.
So join us in our adventures, there’s lots to discover and even more to learn.
HEAR THEIR STORIES
We’ve made so many connections through travelling and met so many incredible and resilient people who opened up, welcomed us in, and shared their stories.
A few of our experiences…
We lived in the back of a 1997 Subaru Forester for 2 months while travelling Tasmania
Worked on Raspberry, Banana, & Avocado Farms, a Salmon Factory, and a Sheep Station in the Australian Outback
Lived on an island in Senegal for 6 months
Lived with the family of a guy we met on a plane on the way to India in Nepal for a week
We lived on the top of our Mitsubishi Pajero in a rooftop tent for 8 months while doing a lap around Australia
Got lost (on purpose) while exploring the crop fields in the south of India on a scooter
Discovered 30,000+ year old ancient rock art from Indigenous people in Kakadu National Park in NT, Australia
Celebrated Christmas in Tasmania with people from over 10 countries
Backpacked through Europe
WHEN WE’RE TRAVELLING, YOU CAN PROBABLY FIND US
Exploring traditional food the local way
You can learn so much about different cultures and connect to people so deeply through the preparation and sharing of food.
Volunteering or doing a work exchange
We travel on a modest budget, which has allowed us to experience so many beautiful things and meet so many incredible people.
Using different methods of transportation
There are so many ways to get from A to B. Part of exploring different corners of the world is trying new ways of getting there.
We love to connect with people.
LET’S BE FRIENDS
There’s nothing better than exchanging stories with your best mates over a campfire. Or bonding over life-changing moments with people you’ve just met. Want to share stories? Want to collaborate? We’d love to hear from you.
