Hey! We’re David and Tara.
Our curiosity to discover the world and other cultures is what brought us together when we met in Senegal, and is still what we most enjoy doing together today.
WHAT WE’RE ALL ABOUT
Coming from a place of privilege, we feel very passionate about sharing some of the amazing things that we have been able to experience, including the incredible and resilient people that we have met along the way.
We feel a great purpose to uplift others and take on opportunities that push our boundaries and have a positive impact on the world.
And if we could, we would adopt all of the puppies we come across.

“Become friends with people who aren't your age. Hang out with people whose first language isn't the same as yours. Get to know someone who doesn't come from your social class. This is how you see the world. This is how you grow...”
— ROUMAISSA
sonder: the realization that each random passerby is living a life as vivid and complex as your own—populated with their own ambitions, friends, routines, worries and inherited craziness—an epic story that continues invisibly around you like an anthill sprawling deep underground, with elaborate passageways to thousands of other lives that you’ll never know existed, in which you might appear only once, as an extra sipping coffee in the background, as a blur of traffic passing on the highway, as a lighted window at dusk.
Tara: “How are you feeling?” David: “Blessed & Anxious”
